Christopher Trautman awarded 2015 Jordan Smith Fellowship

Christopher Trautman, of Clinton, NJ, has been awarded the 2015 Jordan Smith Fellowship by the National Resource Center for the First-Year Experience and Students in Transition. Trautman is a senior majoring in world literature at Fairleigh Dickinson University's Florham Campus in Madison, N.J.

One of five awardees from a national pool of applicants, Trautman will be recognized in February at the 34th Annual Conference on The First Year Experience in Dallas, T.X. The purpose of the Fellowship Program is to advance the leadership skills and knowledge base of undergraduate students so that they may in turn use what they learn at the conference to enhance and encourage first-year student development on their respective campuses.
