Kimberly Bunch Awarded Scholarship in part Through Fairleigh Dickinson University

Kimberly Bunch, a teacher at Franklin Park Elementary School in Franklin Park, NJ has been selected to receive a two year scholarship from the Children's Dyslexia centers of New Jersey, given in conjunction with Fairleigh Dickinson University. The scholarship provides training in the Orton Gillingham approach to teaching reading, spelling, and writing.

The Orton Gillingham Dyslexia Specialist Training course consists of programs tailored for regular classroom teachers and teachers of special education who wish to develop expertise in Orton-Gillingham. Accredited by the International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council, these programs provide teachers with a basic framework within which they can make decisions about adapting instructional sequences in multisensory reading to the specific needs of individual students.
