Local Teachers Awarded Scholarships in part Through Fairleigh Dickinson University

Local teachers have been selected to receive a two year scholarship from the Children's Dyslexia centers of New Jersey, given in conjunction with Fairleigh Dickinson University. The scholarship provides training in the Orton Gillingham approach to teaching reading, spelling, and writing. The teachers are:

Local students win chance to qulaify for International Chemistry Olympiad

The North Jersey Section of the American Chemical Society is proud to announce the names of several outstanding high school chemistry students. The students have won the chance to won the chance to qualify for the International Chemistry Olympiad. They will take a national exam to qulaify to become a member of the US National Chemistry Olympiad team that will compete in the 43rd International Chemistry Olympiad in (IChO) Ankara, Turkey, July 9-18, 2011.
